(Cord Magazine's questions are in blue. Artist responses are in grey.)
What do you do in your downtime?
Can't be printed... I love watching films, renting movies or going to see them. Reading, writing music, it's pretty lame.
What's your vice of choice?
I eat a hell of a lot so that can count.
Favorite city and venue to play?
The 360 in Toronto because of the reception we got, it was amazing. 2nd is the Railway club here.
With all the difficulties and things such as war going on in the world today, who scares you the most?
Bush... Texans, people who have no clue but are fed bullshit and that's what they strongly believe in. It just seems to me that the more ignorant the person is the more strongly their beliefs are... and that freaks me right out. I try not to get to let politics scare me but I can't be ignorant about it either. There's not much you can do it seems, especially in this country, I guess cause of the size of it, you can't really rally the people and have a revolution because its so huge... to make a difference but maybe someone stronger and more brave will come around. Basically politics scare me in general.
What's the one interview question you hope no one ever asks you again?
One guy actually asked me, 'Is it hard to be beautiful?' I thought, 'Are you fucking for real, what does that have to do with anything? Ask me about the music.'

What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?
We had in Poland, I moved here when I was 12, but I don't know if Loony Toons was on on Saturdays but Loony Toons taught me English. In Poland we had these really witty children's cabaret style productions... they were funny and they were political which was weird for a children's show but those I loved. There were a lot of puppets too.
If you could change places with anyone for a day who would it be?
I don't know why but I have the Pope in my head, it's bizarre. I read some of his plays and he's a very smart man and I'm a little Polish Catholic girl. Poland takes so much shit and no one really knows where it is but the head of this huge religion is Polish... I'd just like to be in his head a little bit. That's so lame... the Pope. You know what I change my answer, I'd like to switch with Bush. Because I have no idea how this world works. I would make a good few changes.
A Shark and a Bear are going to fight. Here are the rules: the shark is sitting in a pool of water just big enough for it to exist and the bear is standing on a rock in that pool just big enough for him to fit. Neither have any sort of combat training and both have been starved for a week, who would win?
I'd say the Shark, no wait the Bear cause he could move his arms and scratch the Shark....Yeah the Bear because he's pretty well balanced and the Shark is just floating there waiting to be killed... Yeah the Bear.
If you could ask me one question what would it be?
What does that Tattoo mean and why is it red [fuck that, a good question] okay what made you want to be a writer. [I couldn't answer her without sounding like an ass].

What did you want to be when you were growing up (can't say any kind of artist)?
Painter [what did I just say] that's lame [yeah I know, answer the question] something with sports then, I wanted to be a fast runner.
