One of the first things I notcied about this is that the cover image is similar to one used by Star Collector some time ago... innnteresting. Okay it's not interesting at all. This short EP is very tralala, kinda slice-of-life, hippy tunes. It has that jivey acoustic strum and electric riffs that tags its influence from a strange mix of blues and reggae. The vocals are very capable. I'd still see the guy opening for Ben Harper or something. Or you know, maybe some of the classic Chili Peppers sound. It's incredibly gentle, and honest, like he's saying "there there, life is horrible, but you'll get through it, don't worry." It's overall a bit music-schooly for my liking... 'proper.'
