It seems like the first song, "Theme From Your Mother's Garden," an instrumental piano ballad, is really key. It's a cool little ditty. As we head into track 2, "Alexandria As Our Lens," the lyrics are accessible and cute, even though they aren't necessarily positive. The piano is prevalent on this guy... the singer has a pretty standard emo-y type voice, and there's some nice harmonies, all-in-all a good record. So far unphenomenal, but let's give it a few minutes to grab a hold.... ahh, good yell going on "Tear A Gash" - no rhyming lines in the chorus... interesting approach. Is there a children theme I detect? The disc is pretty dramatic and touching.... some of it's corny but still really really nice.
Song of choice :
Delightfully emo, "Lunch For The Sky" is cool.
