Label: Neversad Records.
Rating: Andy doesn't dig rating stuff.

Basically this album is pretty fluffy. It needs a punch or kick or smack or something. That said, it has a jazzy, light-tone, beachfront feeling. While certainly not reggae, it has that same type of flowy (appropriate...) and easygoing sunshiney vibe. But that also being said, I find it a bit too underproduced (or maybe overproduced to the point that the 'raw' is just gone if it was there in the first place) for my liking. The recording quality isn't bad so much as it's just weak. So, yes, this doesn't turn my crank, but those who enjoy some of the mellower Lenny Kravitz type songs and maybe a bit of Santana will probably enjoy this. Good for cocktails in a breezy outdoor beach club.

Song of choice : Perhaps "Kerouac Trail", the Kravitzy one, is my favourite.
