Rating: Andy doesn't dig rating stuff.

What a cool album this is - two of the most emoiest Canadian bands, both total cut-ups beyond their downtrodden exteriors, covering each other's songs. Ultra-cool! While I'm not as familiar as I should be with the originals of these songs, I have to say these versions are are pretty rad, and probably a new take on the originals. Just the voices are so different between Kenny Bridges (the singer for moneen) and George Pettit (the often-singer for AOF, though Dallas Green puts in his contribution on here as well), there can't NOT be a change in the vibe of the songs. Add in some silly quirky background laughs and ridiculous liner notes delineating how moneen forgot they were even doing this project in the first place, and you've got a pretty well-rounded side project between a bunch of friends.

Song of choice : "Tomorrow I Am Going To Wash The Hippy." Sorry I love Dallas Green. Although the laughter in "Passing Out In America" is pretty fun.
