I'm not completely sure about a.m. elevator and where they aim to go with this
music. It's unsophisticated indie rock that sounds like it was created around 1996.
When I say 'indie,' I don't mean ultra-cool underground rock. I mean a bunch of beer
buddies who went out and bought leather jackets and orange sunglasses and spent way
too long in a local recording studio putting together an album they thought would
make them cool. It's not doing a good job at that. The lyrics lack spark, the music
lacks interest, the voice lacks panache. It's just a bizarre album with too many
ooh-oh-ba-ba-oh types stuff that comes across as filler for an absence of
imaginative lyrics. The fact that every line seems to be repeated 600 times just
secures that. Yeah I think I need to stop listening now.
