Bebek
Open Eyes.

Release Date : April 4, 2006.
Label: Independent.
Rating: Teetering. (Screw points. To each his own!)

Ultra-loungey, a bit like a Morcheeba with a sinister vibe. Liquid womanly vocals trill over intense deep noises and echoey guitars. I like the opening track, but "Lead" seems a bit clipped. Needs more flow to maintain that groove they set with "807 Dub." The trend continues though - the songs are not nearly as cool as the opening track. Lovely vocals though, if not exactly used always how it seems they should be. Rather than swank lounge, the rest of the album sounds more like cheesy goth music.

Song of choice : With no choice at all, "807 Dub" is the best track.
