It reminds me of elementary school assemblies or Christmas Concerts and that sort of thing. That's a bit strange because none of my school assemblies or plays ever involved this sort of original and involved piano music, but I think it's just the pure, clear, unfettered piano sound - no other instruments, with a very slight gymnasium-type echo. My elementary school music instructor would always accompany various school songs in just this very manner. Oh memories. Anyways this is a very relaxing album - like a tea-drinking, drizzly Sunday album. Or a glass of wine and a big leather-bound book in the study. It is indeed lulling me to sleep. In a nice way.
