This band is instasex.
It's amazing really. Thick, thick thick thick... drums, electronic bibbles.. no no
they aren't bibbles, they are cataclysmic balls of electromadness. "Empire" is the
leadoff track and it trips gloriously in anthemlike truly-British fashion between
the verse and chorus. Very unconventional, but they throw in some strings and polite
handclaps just to put you a bit more at ease. Those strings... simple, just pulled
through the thick bits of the song... dancing is a must. The crazy tempo changes
continue, tripping you up like rollerskating through syrup. More strings in "Sun
Rise Light Flies." Yum! Such uplifting songs for the rock boys, what's with all the
sun? They really need to stick to the quick songs though - "British Legion" is just
a tiring song. It's nice but doesn't seem appropriate for them. The sensitive side
of Kasabian. "The Doberman" is a cool track, sort of an early-90's Duran Duran meets
classic Stone Temple Pilots.
Song of choice :
Either "The Doberman" or "By My Side."
