Marq DeSouza's album walks a line between classic-styled guitar rock and country. His voice carries a light twang, and at the same time, a light growl. He includes screaming guitar solos all over the place, thick drums, and pretty well comes across as a Rock Star. Scathing, snarling, falling into low-key interludes. I'm thinking Bon Jovi somehow. Looking at the producer credits and noting that it consisted partially of Todd Kerns, it all makes sense. The Todd Kerns/ Age Of Electric touch is absolutely a part of this.
