Persephone's Bees? Fuck that's cute. Quirky album - it begins dainty and adorable, but each verse ends in a crunchy guitar. Sounds come in that make it seem like a nursery rhyme, and then, boom, rock concert. It's a really eclectic album. European-sounding vocals, with a lightly mod vibe to it. I can't say I mind it, but it's not my favourite either. It reminds me a bit of Morcheeba, but it's 6 years too late. What is this, Russian? Track 5 is in some other language. This song has a Chris Isaak country croon twang to it. Cool. Crazy album. Hard to tag. Probably a good one for the clubs. I love the superficial weirdness of "On The Earth" - people people cars cars. It's all jazzy and wild and everywhere. Fun album!
Song of choice :
Love the ethnic and dangerous vibe of "Muzika Blya Fil'ma"
