The Strange The Blue Album. Release Date : August 2006. Label: Independent. Rating: Good. (Screw points. To each his own!) The Strange appear to have a bit of a Jeff Buckley thing going on. Warbly, shrill vocals, light music with moments of sheer explosiveness. I kind of rather like this. It has a feeling as though it were put together in the mid-90's. Fairly mellow, jammy without being annoying or repetitive. Very well-constructed melodies pull you easily and blissfully through the songs. Not too shabby!
